The Case for "Real" School

I don't remember how the subject came up, but the other day we were talking about public school. I asked the kids if they wish they could go to "real" school. Michael nodded his head. "Why?" I asked.

"So we can have Lunchables."

Well, OK then. Lunchables it is.

They were so delighted with their lunch today, I have a mind to tell Santa to take back all those expensive toys and just fill their stockings with Pizza Treatsas.

Do I dare admit that we've done the same thing? LOL! My youngest sometimes misses those things she's heard about, so we squeeze it in. Lunchables was actually one of those things!

Another time she wanted to know about school cafeteria food. =/ She got that taken care of when the oldest was singing at the Senior Center. We ate lucn with them. Voila! Cafeteria food! ;o)

My son loved going to a summer music camp because I sent Lunchables with him. So silly! He still asks me to buy them regularly at the grocery store. My discussion of the cost of Lunchables vs. a PBJ just doesn't do much for him!

If you go see the Terra Cotta soldiers, get the headset. They made it a very fun experience.
