I love this verse. I started reading through the Bible (for the very first time) in May, and it was fairly recently that I read through Jeremiah, reading it chronologically. It was amazing to read all that lead up to God saying the words to Jeremiah, as well as the "in between" times of rebellion, being carried off to Babylon, etc.
I've thought of this verse often, but honestly wasn't sure where it could be found. Thank you for sharing. I'm finding such good things on the internet tonight!
I love this verse, and your picture! Isn't it interesting how we use planners to plan our life when really God has His own plans that surpass all of ours?
I just memorized this verse! It was already in my mind, but I wanted to make sure I had it down word for word exactly. It has been a blessing to meditate on it. Thank you, by the way, for your kind comments on my blog. Elizabeth http://www.justfollowingjesus.com
Oh one of my most favorite verses!! :) I love the creative shot you did with it! :) Such a reassuring verse!! Thanks for sharing that one this week. I really needed to be reminded of it.
I make my kiddos memorize this as soon as they can start talking in sentences. Such a powerful verse! I love your picture you picked to go with it. PERFECT!!
Kathleen it took me a while to figure out how to comment on this, I told you I was computer illiterate! seriously, the scripture on your date book is my favorite scripture! My husband and I had been divorced a short time, my heart was shattered, my plans all broken, my future so scary. One night I was thumbing through my Bible and this scripture just jumped of the pages straight into my heart. It was one of the very early firsts in the healing of a broken heart. I'm glad you posted it, it's good to remember.
