You Capture - Real Life

Sometimes they fail to clean their rooms. Even if they say they have.

Sometimes I let the Lego Man build instead of doing other things he should be doing because I know how very much he enjoys building.

Sometimes I let the kids watch as much TV as they want to so I can enjoy a little peace and quiet.

Sometimes Many times the petty bickering of sibling rivalry can make a mama want to scream, but then something happens that makes that same mama's heart melt.

Sometimes I get upset over stupid, little things like spilled milk. They are always quick and gracious to forgive me for losing my cool.

Sometimes All the time I love them with all the love my little mommy heart can give.

I teared up, especially on the reminder of how quick they are to forgive us.

They are worth every minute of it. :-)

oh, kudos to you on posting the bedroom pic - I don't think I have the nerve. Though, the bedroom is not really the problem anymore - it is now the closet which I am usually scared to open. :-)

I always said that God made mine cute so I wouldn't kill 'em. LOL! It's those moments of kindness and sleeping and intense concentration that melt my heart one more time. BUT I WANT MY LITTLE ONES BACK!

I am sure my bedroom looked like that when I was growing up. My poor mom. This was such a great post.

Warmly,

Bernie

Humility: hearing a child say, "That's okay, daddy," after you apologize for...

Oh, the "quick to forgive" comment got me, too--good slice of life.

I LOVE these shots - so real, so sweet. And a great reminder to focus on the good side of sibling squabbles (which we have many of here). And I totally wouldn't have minded the "sometimes" coincidence (but thanks for linking to me anyway :)). I love your blog!

I always end up laughing at myself when I end up getting upset over spilled milk. Because it's JUST spilled milk! Glad I'm not alone. :)

These are great real life captures! I know how you feel with the Legos - my life is overrun by them! Oh well, they're only young for a little while!

This post could have totally been about my life! So well-written! Spilled milk makes me crazy! But kids are wonderful things, no?

Do you have a hidden camera somewhere in my house? I'm glad I'm not the only Momma that freaks out over little things, or that lets the TV stay on too long for some peace and quiet.
Thanks for sharing, great pics, I especially like the milk one.
