1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 t. salt
1 c. sugar
1 t. baking soda
1 c. pumpkin puree
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. water
1/2 t. nutmeg
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. allspice (if you have it in your pantry; otherwise, tastes fine without)
Preheat oven to 350. Sift together the flour, salt, sugar, and baking soda.
Mix the pumpkin, oil, eggs, water, and spices together, then combine with the dry ingredients, but do not mix too thoroughly. Stir in the

Good. Batter. Without chocolate.

Good. Plain pumpkin bread made especially for the Mister with love because he prefers his quick breads sans chocolate. Which means he doesn't really know how to Live.

Ohhhh! I love a new recipe; especially one that substitutes chocolate chips for walnuts. I'm definitely going to try this and not just because of the recipe but because of the pictures and narrative as well. Very entertaining!
