Hangin' with Cleo, Darth, a Clone, and Snow White in the Hood

Considering the fact that it was not dark enough for Trick or Treating when we awoke this morning, the excitement mounted throughout the day. The costumes were donned by early afternoon, and there was a little mixing up going on here and there:

Of course, once she donned the red jacket to keep out the cold, no one was sure if she was Snow White or Red Riding Hood. The black red-striped stockings helped add to her RRH look.

Finally, it was time to go. We don't live in a regular neighborhood, so we had plans to meet some friends. All of our little Halloween spirits were not at all dampened by the continuous sprinkling, so we began our trek around the neighborhood.

I think our friends know what they're doing because the kids have never done so well. Their buckets were full to the top with all. good. candy. They even each scored a full-sized candy bar from one of our last stops.

When we got home, the customary negotiations took place.

And of course once they were in bed, I stole borrowed my share.

Your kids look too cute. No, said email did not get sent, but the thought is greatly appreciated. My kids did enjoy our church festival. I was laid out on the couch, drifting in and out of consciousness. (Just kidding) I was pretty out of it though. See ya soon on the 10th at coop. Two more weeks of 3 year olds! Yippee!

Your kids are darling! And I love the stash you took. I took a handful or 2 of my kiddos but didn't dare take pictures as evidence! All good candy? Now that rocks! We gotta find a neighborhood like that next year! :)

For the second year in a row we trick-or-treated with friends who live in the country. The come to our neighborhood. At the end of the night, the same candy negotiations took place. Why not? Everyone gets more of what they want. It's all cool.

I love seeing your kids all dressed up and the potpourri of costumes. The snow clone was cracking me up! I will post our pics soon! Gotta admit, got my own little stash too!

Your oldest looks too grown up. Tell her to STOP IT!

They all looks so adorable....

I miss listening to the negotiations. Seems as if the youngest always drove the hardest bargain.

I used to hold my paw out for candy from my kids. Once they got older, they knew if anything was missing. ;o)

Your stash looks really good. 'Specially that 100,000 bar.

Those 100 Grand bars are among my very favorites! Those and Bottle Caps. No Bottle Caps this year. :( But there was so much good chocolate, who needs Bottle Caps?
