This is a brilliant idea. I know it is because the gifts we spent a fortune on this past Christmas received a few glorious moments of attention on Christmas morning. But the gigantic box my new chair came in?
It has been a train,
a house,
a spaceship,
a sarcophagus,
an ideal place in which to complete schoolwork,
a sled,
and a really cool thing to tote around in the wagon.
What kind of toy provides that much amusement?
So here it is...
Audrey: box
Michael: box
Jacob: box
Alex: Notice she is not in any of the box pictures. I guess she's too mature for a box. I'll have to figure something else out for her. Still...that's quite a savings for the Christmas 2010 Budget!

ha! I have posts about boxes too. But my question is... will you wrap the box IN a box or just wrap the box itself? You need to think these things out, ya know! ;-)
I hear ya! LOL! And I think it's a great idea. You cold splurge and throw in some paints and markers to decorate the box.... ;o)
Get Alex a larger box.
That looks like a lot of fun. THanks for visiting my blog. :)
LOL!!!! Isnt that the truth! My daughter still has 2 toys laying there UNOPENED!!! I am definitely going to cut back this year!!!
Maybe disguise the box with beads and jewels-then it will be really really cool!

I love it! My kids enjoy the boxes the most too. :)
Boxes are way too much fun. I had a TV box for almost 6 months. My parents had to eventually throw it away after they realized that with me in it was a Pet Mouse....:)
I will miss that Box and that Mouse too...
Kids enjoy the box! Great post. Have a nice weekend...:)
I think you are on to something. All I need to do is paint it camo and it will be a done deal.
You know what, I bet we could market these... :-)
