Despite the fact that I am yearning to see some green leaves on these trees, I did snap a couple of new photos this week. This first one is from our field trip to the state capitol:
And this one I took on the first day I dared venture out after the most recent snow and ice event. I knew the going would be precarious (for a southern driver like me anyway), so I didn't even bring along my camera. How I regretted that when I saw these icy trees sparkling so brightly in the morning sun. iPhone to the rescue, although I still wish I had had my Nikon because it would have been easier to get rid of some of those dark shadows in RAW. Anyway, I still like the composition of it:
I took this picture after the very first big storm up here in Connecticut...back when snow was still a novelty, and all I wanted to do was photograph its beauty:
And I know you've seen these two before (like last week on the second one), but I'm a little anal retentive, so when I title a post "Trees", I like to get all of my trees in one place, thankyouverymuch. So please forgive me!
