Spelunking

cave sky

It was a gorgeous day the second day in a row we headed to Hershey, so we decided to stop off and explore a cave. Unfortunately, the day and night before, massive rains had caused some flooding in Pennsylvania.

As a result, our cave had some flooded areas that were impassable, and thus our tour was shortened. The tour was indeed rather short, and much of the cave floor quite soggy, but we survived.

And afterwards, we spent a little bit of time with the wildlife.

The goat even gave us a cheesy little grin.

LOL! The goat grin is great! We went to PA for vacation 2 yrs. ago with my parents. We went to the Hershey factory, but not the theme park. The top picture is gorgeous also. About the caves. . . we went on a vacation across country almost 3 years ago and went through WI and the midwest the last time they had all that flooding. We went into a cave and usually caves are wet, but that time we got "rained" on inside the cave. It was crazy. Luckily the whole thing was still passable. Thanks for stopping by today. Look forward to seeing future posts of yours. Gotta go check out your other blog too.
